Two deer rescued from well at Coimbatore

Fire and rescue personnel rescued two deer that fell into a well at a farmland in Pudhur near Thondamuthur in the district. A team led by station officer Anil Kumar and special station officer Selvaraj rushed to the spot, after being alerted about the incident by residents. The deer that had fallen into the well were struggling to keep themselves afloat.After an hour of struggle, the personnel rescued the deer with the help of farmers. The deer were then handed over to the forest department.  The department, in turn, is taking necessary steps to release them into the forest after examining them for physical injuries.
