Thirumagan Evera dies of cardiac arrest

Congress MLA from Erode East constituency Thirumagan Evera died of cardiac arrest at his house in the city on Wednesday. He was survived by his wife Poornima and a son.
He is the son of senior Congress leader and former minister EVKS Elangovan.
During the morning hours, he had fainted after he witnessed uneasiness. 

He was immediately taken to hospital by his family members. But doctors had announced that he had died already and the cause of death was said to be cardiac arrest. His body was taken to his house for final rites. Political leaders, Congress functionaries and partymen visited his house to pay tribute.
