Tamil Nadu state yoga championship held in Coimbatore

The Kovai prana yoga centre in association with Yoga cultural society conducted the Tamil Nadu state yoga championship 2023 at its premises at Saravanampatti in the city. It is aimed at selecting potential candidates for international yoga competition that is scheduled to take place in Dubai in the first week of May.
More than 100 contestants aged between three and 60 years took part in the qualifier.

AS Sai Veerasekar, who had been working as a branch manager in a private bank, was qualified for the International championship under 30 to 40 age group category. Sai veerasekar said that his dad and uncle were instrumental in him encouraging him to practice yoga. He has been practiced yoga for the past 8 years and participated in district and state level competitions. He said that kids and youth should start practicing yoga for better country and better world. Balakrishnan from Ozone yoga has appreciated and supported him.
