SVPISTM hosted a delegation from Ethiopia

The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel international school of textiles and management (SVPISTM) hosted a delegation from the Ethiopian ministry of industry. The delegation was organized by Texcoms Textile Solutions to explore advanced textile research and industry partnerships.
P Alli Rani and team welcomed the delegates and guided them through the institute’s facilities, showcasing spinning, weaving technologies, machinery, technical textiles exhibit, and textile chemical and textile testing labs.
The delegation also visited the sanitary napkin production wing and learned about the institute’s innovative ‘Ahimsa Leather,’ a sustainable alternative to traditional leather.
The visit fostered valuable knowledge exchange and laid the groundwork for future collaborations between India and Ethiopia, highlighting SVPISTM’s leadership in textile research and sustainability.
