State level seminar at Sree Narayana Guru College

The Department of Social Work of Sree Narayana Guru College, Coimbatore organized a State Level Seminar. Dr. M. Ilangovan, Principal, presided. Chief guest Dr. M. S. Muthusamy, DIG Coimbatore Range, spoke on the Importance of Child Protection and Child Welfare.

 Mr. D. V. Vijayakumar, Project Director of the National Child Labour Project, Coimbatore, spoke on the challenges in child labour eradication.The News Letter of the Department of Social Work for the academic year 2021-2022 was released by the DIG and received by the Principal.

Dr. I. Maria Yesuraja, Professor and Head, Department of Social Work, welcomed and Assistant Professor Mr. A. Bellaro John Regan, proposed the vote of thanks. Assistant Professors, Ms. Nikhitha and Mrs. Nandhini Devi coordinated the programme.
