SRCAS celebrates 37th annual day

Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, located in Nava India, Coimbatore, celebrated its 37th Annual Day with great pomp and grandeur on Wednesday within the college premises.

The event was presided over by R Sundar, Joint Managing Trustee of SNR Sons Charitable Trust. The welcome address was delivered by M Varshini, the Student Council President, followed by the reading of the annual report by Dr. BL Sivakumar, the Principal and Secretary of the college.

Dr. Rupa Gunaseelan, Registrar (in-charge) of Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, graced the occasion as the chief guest. In her address, she emphasised the importance of technology in today's world and urged students to harness its benefits for the country's development.

Awards were then presented to 90 outstanding students who excelled in academics, NCC, NSS, sports, and various other forums. Additionally, D Karthiban and S Karan were honored as the best outgoing students in the undergraduate and master's programs, respectively.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by P Nithesh Krishna, the Vice President of the Student Union.
