Rs. 6.92 crore worth houses built for Lankan Tamil Rehabilitation Camp

Erode District Collector S. Kandasamy inspected the ongoing development project works in Bhavanisagar constituency on Friday.
He inspected the Bhavanisagar Town Panchayat, Punjaipuliyampatti Municipality, Pungar and Kothamangalam Panchayats under Bhavanisagar Assembly Constituency. He inspected the drinking water project works being carried out in Punjaipuliyampatti Municipality under the Amrut 2.0 project at an estimated cost of Rs. 52.07 crore.
He inspected the Forest Department Sapling Production Center operating in Karatshikkorai Forest Village and inquired about the planting of saplings, distribution of saplings and use of natural fertilizers. He inspected the houses being constructed at a cost of Rs. 6.92 crore at the Bhavanisagar Sri Lankan Tamil Rehabilitation Camp.
