Recognition for Kalasalingam University

The Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (Deemed to be University) has been ranked 323 among 1183 institutions of higher learning from all over the world in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings for 2023. It stands at the 10th place among institutions of higher learning in India. 
The UI GreenMetric World University Ranking is a ranking on green campus and environmental sustainability. 
It was initiated in 2010 by Universitas Indonesia to measure campus sustainability efforts. The ranking is given by a jury of experts by applying 39 indicators under six criteria based on the institution's environmental commitment and initiatives. 
The ranking takes into account three aspects -- Environment, Economy and Equity. 
The Chancellor, Dr. S. Sridharan, the Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Arivalagi Sridharan, and Dr. S. Shasi Anand, Vice-President, congratulated all those who contributed to the sustainability initiatives of the institution that have resulted in getting global recognition.
