Raising the Red Card against all Discrimination and Violence

The Youth United Council of India (YUCI) and SIMATS Engineering, a youth-run organization, have collaborated to raise the red card against discrimination and violence against women and girls at Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS Deemed to be University). The initiative aimed to empower citizens and raise awareness about gender-based discrimination and violence. 

 The event served as a platform for raising awareness and fostered unity among participants to combat gender-based injustices. The collective action demonstrated SIMATS Engineering and YUCI's commitment to creating a safer and more equitable environment for women and girls. Over 400 students from SIMATS Engineering participated in a rally, chanting slogans condemning discrimination and violence against women.
