Pvt Schools seek due Protection from Govt

Federation of TN Private Schools and Colleges Associations appealed to the government to give due protection to all teachers, correspondents, principals and assets of private educational institutions to check violent incidents as happened in Sakthi Matric HSS, Kaniyamur.

Its president TC Elangovan, secretary Raja, treasurer SD Chandrasekar, Nandhakumar, MLAs Er Eswaran, Dr CK Saraswathi, MP AKB Chinraj, and many heads of various institutions attended its state level meeting held at Erode Vellalar College for Women.

It  demanded full compensation for the loss of Sakthi school, welfare board for teaching and non-teaching staff, permanent recognition for  schools operating for more than ten years,  accreditation for new schools for 3 years, speedy DTCP approval, reduction of property tax, hike in the tuition fees given for students, enrolled under the  the RTE Act, sanctioning of the fees/scholarships in time, inclusion of private school representatives in textbook, curriculum preparation and fee fixation committees, and orientation programme for teachers
