PSGRKCW College hosts India Sustainability Startathon Bootcamp

The Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship Development (CIIED) at PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, Coimbatore, in collaboration with The Future Founders Co., successfully organized the India Sustainability Startathon (ISS) 2025 Bootcamp on 10th and 11th July 2025. 
This flagship event marked a milestone as one of the first of its kind in South India to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in sustainability among students conducted by Arts and Science College.
A key highlight of ISS 2025 was the opportunity for participants to compete for ₹2.5 lakh in funding, access to over 50 internships and placement opportunities, and admission into pre-incubation programs. Outstanding teams will be awarded a fully funded opportunity to represent India at the ACI Youth Leadership Summit in Singapore, providing global exposure for their innovations.

The inaugural session featured a Welcome Address by Dr. P. Bharathi, Principal. Dr. N. Yesodha Devi, Secretary, inspired students to become sustainability leaders. Dr. P. Sadhasivam, Director of GRGSMS, highlighted the importance of youth-driven climate entrepreneurship. The Inaugural Address was delivered by Mrs. Akila Elanchezhiyan, Associate Vice President, StartupTN.

Ms. Supriya Panchangam (CEO) and Mr. Rohan Subash (COO) of The Future Founders Co. presented the program overview.The session concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. N. Priyadharsini, Head, CIIED.
