PMK like a cat on the wall

A three-cornered contest led by DMK, AIADMK and BJP in Tamil Nadu was  a foregone conclusion a month ago.Constituencies wise negotiations and agreements have been completed in the DMK alliance.
But negotiations are still ongoing with the other two camps. PMK and DMDK are the reason for the drag. If these two parties announce their alliance decision, the electoral field in Tamil Nadu will be ready for the electioneering.
The DMDK stipulated that a Rajya Sabha MP post should be given along with the allotted MP seats and talked with AIADMK and BJP. There are reports that the AIADMK, which initially refused to accept this, has now given its consent as it had no other choice.
Similarly, it was expected that PMK would join the AIADMK alliance. PMK is a strong party in northern districts. 
So the AIADMK and the BJP engaged in competitive negotiations to bring the party into their alliance. 
The two coalition leadership parties agreed to give additional seats and reserve one Rajya Sabha MP seat.
Dr Ramadoss wanted an alliance with the AIADMK. But Anbumani Ramadoss insisted on alliance with BJP. AIADMK  now appears to have disappeared from the sight of PMK, who was waiting for Anbumani to jump like a cat on the wall with his hand raised.
The AIADMK came down to pull the party to its side by giving what it asked for when it was certain that the party would leave the party.It seems that former Union Health Minister Anbumani is targeting not only the Rajya Sabha seat but also the ministerial position in the Union government. 
It has been leaked that a decision can be taken by discussing it with Prime Minister Modi and the BJP leadership has given an assurance.
Like the cat standing on the wall PMK is waiting to jump to the BJP side waiting for a good time and oppurtunity.
The date of parliamentary elections has also been announced. Voters of Tamilnadu are waiting with great anticipation to watch the electrifying election campaign.
After deciding which alliance to join, there is no point in delaying any more time for PMK and DMDK to finalize it!
