The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Kongu Arts and Science College (KASC) in collaboration with Promind Learning Academy, Erode organized a five day National Level Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Empowering Educators for a Viksit Bharat: Transformative Teaching and Research Strategies”.
P.D. Thangavel, Correspondent and Dr.H.Vasudevan, presided.
Dr. G. Tholkappia Arasu, Former Principal, AVS College of Technology, Salem, spoke
on “Transformative Approaches to Sustainability Education for Future-Ready Educators.”
The second day's topic was “ICT-Based Novel Teaching Methodologies for Present-Generation Students” and Dr. S. Albert Alexander, Associate Professor/SELECT, VIT Vellore was the resource person.
The third day's topic “Teaching Smarter, Not Harder: AI Tools for 21st-Century Educators.” It was addressed by Dr. R. Sangeetha, Associate Professor, Christ University, Bangalore.
4th day was handled by Dr.S.Shankar, Director, Promind Research Academy, on “Simplifying Research: Addressing Societal Challenges with Resourceful and Impactful Approaches.”
The final session of the FDP was delivered by Dr. Vivek M. Nanoti, Director, Priyadarshini Group of Institutions, Nagpur, on “Classroom to Community: Making Education & Research in India More Relevant.”
Dr.K.K.A.Alaguappan, IQAC Co-ordinator arranged the event with Dr.S.Shankar, Founder and Director, Promind Learning Academy. Nearly 300 faculty members, researchers, and academicians from 18 states got benefitted.
