Mango tree plantation drive launched in remote village to promote sustainable agriculturet

Sri Arunodayam Charitable a non-profit organization has luanched a mango tree plantation drive in Ramasamudram village in Thiruvallur District, Tamil Nadu with an objective to promote sustainable agriculture and boost the local economy. Sri Arunodayam Charitable that works towards rehabilitation of intellectually disabled children and adults and Wolters Kluwer ELM Solutions Pvt Ltd, as part of their CSR initiative.Wolters Kluwer ELM Solutions Pvt Ltd jointly organised the mango tree planting drive.
This included planting 250 mango saplings, levelling and ploughing the land, fencing, plumbing work for irrigating the trees, and manure and fertilizers, both organic for the upkeep of the trees. All the trees were planted by the staff of WoltersKluwer after the inauguration. The plantation drive was inaugurated by Mr. Josh Underwood, Vice President, Wolters Kluwer USA, in the presence of Mr. Iyyappan Subramaniyan, Founder Managing Trustee Sri Arunodayam Charitable Trust, Chennai.
