Kongu National School selected for state hockey tourney

In the selection of school students for state level hockey team,  teams under 14 and 19 years of age of Kongu National Matriculation Higher Secondary School (KNMHSS), Perundurai, were qualified.  The teams won first place in the Erode revenue district level hockey tournament organized by School Education Department  at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Punjai Puliambatti recently and qualified to play in state level hockey tournament on behalf of Erode district.

 In the finals held at district level, the KNS' under-19 and 14 age category teams bet the Kongu Educational Institute, Rangampalayam and Kongu Velalar Matriculation High School, Perundurai, and qualified for the state tournament. The KNMHSS correspondent RM Devaraja, Principal M. Maithili and faculty felicitated the successful students.
