Karnataka Tourism Roadshow in Chennai showcases diverse tourism offerings

The Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, hosted an engaging Roadshow in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on 3rd August 2023. The event attracted over 150 travel trade representatives, media professionals, and guests to showcase the diverse attractions of Karnataka, including its rich cultural heritage, historical monuments, beaches, lush green landscapes, wildlife sanctuaries, and modern urban experiences. Dr. Ramprasath Manohar Varatharajan, Director of the Department of Tourism, and Mr. Sashi Kumar, Assistant Director, graced the event, along with a dedicated group of stakeholders from Karnataka.

The event began with engaging Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings for tour operators and travel agents to network and explore potential collaborations with Karnataka's tourism officials and stakeholders. The audio-visual presentation on Karnataka Tourism showcased the state's natural beauty, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality. An interactive Q&A session followed, providing attendees with deeper insights into Karnataka's tourism offerings.
