Jamabandhi begins in Erode district

The revenue audit (Jamabandhi) began in all 10 taluks of Erode district on Thursday.
The jamabandhi held at the Nambiyur Taluk Office was presided over by Collector Rajagopal Sunkara.
108 petitions, seeking free housing patta, old age allowance, and patta conversion were received. The revenue audit will be held till Friday.
A total of 899 petitions were submitted by the public in the jamabandhi held in all the taluks in the district.  
The revenue audit will be held in Gobi, Sathyamangalam and Perundurai taluks till the 29th, in Anthiyur till the 28th, and in Bhavani, Nambiyur, Erode, Modakkurichi and Kodumudi till the 27th. It was completed in a single day in Thalavadi on Thursday.
The District Collector's Assistants Muhammad Kuthurathulla, C. Lokanathan, Nambiyur Taluk Officer Kesavamoorthy were present at the event.  Others participated.
In Erode,  PA to District Collector (Land) Premalatha, led the jamabandhi.
Erode Tahsildar  Muthukrishnan and Social Security Scheme tahsildar Thiagarajan were present.
