Education of under privileged students is currently in a delicate balance

Rice MMS, established in 1999, was granted 90 crores by Teres des Homes (TDH - NL) to provide quality education to underprivileged students in Hosur, Krishnagiri district.
However, in 2014, Meru Miller, who took on the role of board secretary, engaged in administrative irregularities, leading to the expulsion of over 500 children who were receiving free education.
Miller and Oliver Salomon also unlawfully sold the school's property, valued at sixteen crores, and were involved in corrupt practices.
Journalist Mr. Sivaraman criticized the situation and lodged a complaint with IAS officer Mr. Dinesh Ponraj Oliver, urging for Miller's removal and the appointment of a new secretary to protect the educational rights of underprivileged students.
The Tamil Nadu government is expected to respond accordingly.
