CREDAI welcomes visionary Coimbatore Master Plan 2041

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, today formally launched the Coimbatore Master Plan 2041, a comprehensive and forward-thinking roadmap designed to guide the city’s development over the next two decades. 
Key highlights of the plan include:
A proposed 147-kilometre metro rail network to enhance regional connectivity and ease urban congestion Strengthening of manufacturing hubs, IT infrastructure, and educational institutions An estimated ₹56,000 crore investment over 16 years for comprehensive implementation Strategic planning to tackle the pressures of urbanisation while fostering economic, environmental, and social equity·The Master Plan 2041 spans an area of 1,532 square kilometres and has been developed using GIS-based spatial mapping and multidisciplinary inputs. It adopts a balanced land-use approach, covering residential, industrial, agricultural, and environmental zones.
Welcoming the launch, Mr. W.S. Habib, President of CREDAI Tamil Nadu, said, “We sincerely thank the Hon’ble Chief Minister for unveiling the Coimbatore Master Plan 2041. 
“We are equally happy to note the government’s commitment to robust monitoring mechanisms to ensure timely execution. CREDAI Tamil Nadu also urges the rollout of similar master plans for other cities and towns across the state to ensure coordinated and planned urban growth,” he further added.
