Collector receives 12D forms from 85+ senior citizens

Erode district collector Mr. Raja Gopal Sunkara received the completed 12D form from voters above 85 years of age, those affected by and suspected of being affected by Corona and disabled voters for the purpose of using postal votes.

 For this purpose, Booth  Level Officers in the concerned Parliamentary Constituency would issue Form 12D (12NU) to voters above 85 years of age, persons with disabilities and those affected or suspected to be affected by Corona virus infection before March 24. 

 If the concerned voters are not at home, they will visit them in person for the second time and get approval. Accordingly, Erode District Election Officer and District Collector, today visited some persons in Periyar Nagar, and E.V.N. Road and checked the voter ID card, filled in the details in the appropriate form, obtained the voter's signature and explained the voting method, filled in the 12D application form for postal vote and 

received them. 

 During this event, Erode Corporation Commissioner Mr. Sivakrishnamurthy, Erode RDO Mr. Satish Kumar, Corporation Chief Engineer Mr. Vijayakumar, Erode Tahsildar  Mr. Muthukrishnan and many officers were present.
