Collector campaigns for cent percent polling

Regarding the need for 100 percent voting in the upcoming Parliamentary General Elections - 2024, a human chain rally was held in the Udagai Farmers Market area of ​​the Nilgiri District.

In order to create awareness among the voters, under the theme 'Election Season - Nation's Pride', the rally was held with the participation of the District Election Officer and District Collector Mrs. M. Aruna.

It includes more than 350 government officials, women self-help groups, integrated child development program, and social welfare workers.They participated holding banners with awareness slogans such as 'Vote' and 'Don't buy notes for voting'. 

On this occasion, Additional Collector (Development) Mr. Kaushik, Election Awareness Officer Aavin General Manager Dr Jayaraman, Mahalir Thittam Director Mr. Kasinathan, ICDS Program Officer Mrs. Devakumari, District Child Welfare Officer Ms.Shobana,  Assistant Program Officers Mr. Kumaravel, Mr. Jegatheeswaran, Mrs. Jayarani, Mr. Arunkumar, Uthakai tahsildar Mr. Saravanakumar and many others participated.
