CM virtually inaugurates ‘Thozhi hostel’ at Tiruvannamalai

Chief Minister MK Stalin on Wednesday virtually inaugurated a ‘Thozhi hostel’ for working women in three districts including one in Tiruvannamalai.
After Stalin virtually inaugurated it, deputy speaker of the state assembly K Pitchandi inspected the hostel in person. The hostel was constructed at the cost of Rs 10.15 crore.
Spread over 1,59,400 square feet, the three-storied building has the capacity to accommodate 132 beds. Other facilities including biometric entry, 24x7 security, Wi-Fi, CCTV surveillance, clean drinking water, hot water, washing machine, healthy food, television, ironing facilities, parking space have been provided.
This hostel, which offers short-term stays of up to 15 days, has a daily rent of Rs 800 and a monthly fee of Rs 3,800. For booking, one can use the website https://www.tnwwhcl.in and for more details, one can call at 9499988009.
District collector K Tharpagaraj, MP CN Annadurai, Mahalir Thittam PD Saranya Devi, district social welfare officer Gomathi and other officials attended the event.
The hostel aims to provide safe and low-cost accommodation to women, who work in 
cities.
