The Erode Law College administration and students recently organized a legal aid camp in the Bargur hills for the upliftment of the tribal people. They met MP Subbarayan and BSNL Telephone General Manager and urged them to arrange telephone facilities in the hills. Due to this, the people of Bargur have now started getting the telecommunication facilities provided by the government. The event was graced by the Vice President of the College, Gayathri Ravichandran, Joint Secretary Mr. Arun Balaji, and Principal Akbar Ali Baig.
In recognition of this community contribution, Gobi Sub-Collector Sivanandham presented certificates of appreciation to the students in the 79th Independence Day celebration. Gobi Tahsildar R. Saravanan greeted them.
