'Braille' shaped booth slips given to voters

A 'Braille' shaped booth slip was given to the visually impaired in Perundurai on Monday.

As Lok Sabha polls are going to be held on the 19th, the preparations for the polls are in full swing.

 'Braille'-shaped booth slips were given to the visually impaired in the areas of  Perundurai Assembly segment in Tirupur Lok Sabha constituency.

As there are 274 visually impaired people in Perundurai segment, 'Braille' booth slips are being provided to facilitate them to vote, said the Revenue Department.
