Avinashilingam University organises 3-day medical camp

A three-day Mega Medical camp was organised by the National Service Scheme Cell, National Cadet Corps, and Youth Red Cross of Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women from March 20 to March 22. The camp offered a range of health services across various specialties, including Cardiac, Eye, Dental Checkup, Physiotherapy, Gynaecology, Dermatology, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Diabetic care, Anaemia Screening, Bone mineral density, Psychiatry, and general consultation.

Several hospitals contributed to the camp, providing their expertise and services. These included SP Diabetic Foundation, Trinity Super-Speciality Eye Hospital, RVS Homeopathy and RVS Dental Hospital, KG Speciality Centre, Hindustan Hospital, Saigram Ayurveda Hospital, and Meenakshi Maternity Home.

The first day of the camp saw significant participation, with over 4000 students and 300 faculty members benefiting from the various services offered.
