Assembly panel visits Ooty

Government Tea Estate

Perundurai MLA and committee member S. Jayakumar and others participated in this meeting. On the 2nd day after completing the inspection meeting at the  Coimbatore District Collectorate, the team reached Ooty, Nilgiris District.

The team visited and inspected the Tamil Nadu Government Tea Estate in Ooty, Farmers' Market, Uthagamandalam ITI and Adi Dravidar Welfare Students' Hostel building in Ooty. Subsequently, the team visited and inspected the 150 MW Paikara Power Project at Singara, Nilgiri District costing Rs.383 crore.
