Anna Poorani: Rotaract Gaalaxy Begins the Rotary Year with giving grocery donation

Marking the beginning of the new Rotary year, the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy, in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Gaalaxy, organized a heartfelt Grocery Donation Drive titled “Anna Poorani” at St. Joseph’s Old Age Home, Podanur.
This thoughtful initiative aimed to extend support to the elderly residents by providing them with essential groceries, including rice, pulses, oil, toiletries, and other necessities. Members from both the Rotary and Rotaract family came together to deliver these supplies and share warm conversations with the residents of the home.

The project stood as a reflection of the club’s enduring commitment to community service and compassion. As the new Rotary year dawns, Anna Poorani serves as a beautiful beginning - anchored in care, connection, and contribution.
With joy-filled hearts and a spirit of service, the club hopes to continue making meaningful impacts throughout the year.
