A.M. Jain College reaches out to Michaung Cyclone affected people

As Chennai and its surrounding areas gradually recover from the aftermath of Cyclone Michaung, A.M. Jain College, a premier educational institution in Chennai, extended a helping hand to residents in Meenambakkam. On Friday, December 08, 2023, the college initiated a substantial food distribution drive, distributing nearly 1000 food packets.  College Secretary Mr. Udhan Kumar Chordia and Associate Secretary Mr. Hemant Chordia played a key role in actively serving this initiative by participating in the food distribution drive. This initiative will extend through the weekend, continuing on Saturday, December 09, and on Sunday, December 10, 2023.

In a concerted effort to further support the community, the college is organizing the distribution of essential rations, household items, clothing, blankets, and other necessities on Sunday, December 10. Around 1000 kits will be handed out to those in need. Additionally, the college is hosting a Medical Camp on the same day from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

These proactive measures aim to comprehensively support the local residents during this challenging period. A.M. Jain College remains steadfast in its commitment to contributing positively to societal welfare and is dedicated to continued efforts to uplift and serve the community.
