Vellalar College for Women signs MoU with TCS in Erode

An MoU signing ceremony with TCS and Placement Day function was held at the government aided Vellalar College for Women, Thindal, Erode. The function was presided over by the Secretary of the College, S. D. Chandrasekhar. On the occasion, Dr. KM Sucheendran, Global Head of Education Alliances and Education Interface Programs of TCS and Regional Head Stephen Moses Dhinakaran signed an MoU for launching of 'BSc Computer Science with Cognitive Systems' in the college. In his speech, Dr. Sucheendran said that employees entering TCS with a salary of Rs 2.6 lakh have the opportunity to earn a salary of Rs 7 lakh in a single year. He appreciated 1266 students who received placement in 25 firms including TCS, KGISL, Azenger orders and gave away placement orders. College Principal SK Jayanthi, placement  officers, Dr. Selvi, Raja, Dr. Bharti, who will be the head of the new department, and others participated in the event.
