Tiruvannamalai Collector provided incentives to sanitation workers

Tiruvannamalai Collector D Bhaskara Pandian recently facilitated a commendable initiative by presenting incentives to women's groups responsible for maintaining sanitary latrines along the Girivalam path. This gesture took place during a meeting at the Tiruvannamalai District Collector's office on behalf of the Tamil Nadu State Rural Livelihood Movement.

Since April 24th, members of the Women's Self Help Group have been diligently overseeing the upkeep of 8 toilets along the Girivalam path in Tiruvannamalai. Their efforts were widely recognised by devotees during Chitra Poornami last month. Acknowledging their dedication, the Chief Executive Officer of the District Government awarded incentive funds to the deserving Women's Self Help Groups.

Additional Collector and Project Director of the Women's Program expressed gratitude to the members of the Women's Self Help Group for their exemplary work. The event saw the presence of Additional Collector Development Rishabh, Program Director Saranyadevi, government officials, and members of the Women's Committee, reaffirming collective support for such impactful community initiatives.
