Special prayer for rain conducted by TNMMK at Coimbatore

The Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam (TNMMK) and the Islamic Propaganda Council organised a special prayer for rain in the Saramedu area of Coimbatore, acknowledging the severe drought conditions and rising temperatures plaguing Tamil Nadu. With groundwater levels plummeting and water scarcity reaching critical levels, the public, including farmers, is enduring considerable hardships.
Maulavi Yunus Firthelasi led the special prayer at 7 am in the Saramedu area of Karumbukadai, Coimbatore, where more than 500 Muslim individuals gathered to attend the prayer seeking rain. The prayer aimed to reduce the suffering caused by the acute water shortage and provide relief to the affected communities.
