Norway film festival awards 8th Student for her film

Norwegian Tamil Film Festival recently honoured eighth-grade student PK Agasthi with the Norway Tamil Film Award (NTFF) for her outstanding film "Kundan Chatti." 
The film, which was screened for two hours at the award ceremony in Oslo City, Norway, captivated the audience and garnered widespread attention. Norwegian Tamil film director Vashikaran, along with government officials, presented Agasthi with the award and certificate.
"Kundan Chatti," written and directed by PK Agasthi, is an animated film produced by Chellammal Movie Makers. Set in the village of Koranattu Karuppur near Kumbakonam, the film revolves around the lives of fifth-grade students and highlights various positive messages. 
It emphasises the importance of academic success over appearance, the resilience to overcome challenges, the benefits of traditional foods, maintaining cleanliness, and respecting elders.
Agasthi's film has received numerous accolades and positive 
reviews. 
She was also honoured as the Best Young Director by Tamil Nadu private schools and received praise from Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan. 
Additionally, "Kundan Chatti" was recognised as the Best Newcomer Young Director and Best Animated Film at the 15th Annual Narva Tamil Film Awards in Norway on April 28.
School Principal Karthikeyan and International School Principal Poornima Karthikeyan commended Agasthi for her exceptional work, highlighting her achievement in being selected among more than a hundred young directors for the prestigious award.
