EPS raises voice against the Prime Minister

BJP state president K. Annamalai in his recent speech said, “The AIADMK won in the last assembly elections only because it formed an alliance with the BJP in 30 seats. We won all over India in 2019 elections. But how did we lose only in Tamilnadu?. We won in Karnataka, vote percentage is increasing in Kerala. We lost because of alliance with AIADMK. The reason for the unprecedented defeat in Tamil Nadu is because of the corruption of the AIADMK. After the election, there will be no party called AIADMK,” he said.
AIADMK members reacted strongly against thisAIADMK members reacted strongly against this. Edappadi K Palaniswami, who had been criticizing and accusing the DMK, had restrained in criticizing the BJP. However, off late he has suddenly got furious. From a refrain mode, he has now dared to speak loudly against the Prime Minister and not just the BJP.
Edappadi Palaniswami said, “A new leader (Annamalai) has come to BJP. His only job is to give interviews. He is giving interviews while boarding and disembarking the plane. He is trying to convince people and get votes by giving interviews. No matter how many leaders like him, nothing can be done to the  AIADMK. Did the Prime Minister and Annamalai open their mouths about resolving the Cauvery water issue? From the centre  (apparently indicating the Prime Minister Modi) they are often coming and going. They come straight from the aeroplane. What's the point of just going on the road? Will people vote? People of Tamil Nadu are intellectual. Cheating does not happen here,"  he said.With this, it seems that the former Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami, who has been silent on attacking the BJP till now, has started to unleash tirades. As the DMK continues to accuse the BJP and the AIADMK of being in a undercover relationship, there has also been a debate about the reason for this change in him.Not only AIADMK but also other parties are testifying that K Annamalai is an inexperienced politician and a novice in politics. AIADMK has been in power for more than 30 years in the last 52 years. This is a roboust organization and hence it is not fair to say that AIADMK will disappear with the coming elections that too by the BJP holding  only 2 percent votes.Even a small child laughs at Annamalai for saying we are the reason for AIADMK's victory, Edappadi K Palaniswami said.Edappadi Palaniswami left the alliance because he felt that there would be a huge backlash if he took a supportive stand with the BJP. Not much criticism though. Now he is starting to talk. It's not good enough. So Palaniswami should criticize the BJP more forcefully.Only then can people like K. Annamalai come out of criticizing and lead the party to the path of development!
