We are responsible for our safety

For the past one month, lakhs and lakhs of people gathered and rejoiced in the political meetings.

They kept their masks inside their shirt pockets without fail.

Post the elections, the Health Department has announced that plans have been made to increase the testing rate. 


The second wave of coronavirus is not prevailing in India but many of the countries have been hit by the second phase of the spread.

Once again, the number of cases and the death rate is increasing.

It has been found out that eight states in India have been affected by 84% of the spread.

In Tamil Nadu, 2800 cases per day are recorded. 


It is progressive that the number of vaccinations has increased after the announcement that those above the age of 45 can get a jab.

This is the time for all of us to decide on the significance of our health leaving aside all the inhibitions and fear associated with the vaccines.

At the same time, we must not forget that we are living in a circumstance where wearing a mask and practising social distance is a must. 


It should be kept in mind that we are responsible for our safety.
