The Public Health Department should monitor vehicles coming from Karnataka to check spreading of corona as many entered TN from there without e- pass via Bannari check post.
This plea was made by many social activists here.
They said the spread of corona infection is increasing in Tamil Nadu.
Due to this, the Tamil Nadu government has imposed various restrictions from April 10.
It has been announced that e-pass is mandatory to enter Tamil Nadu from other states.
In this situation, vehicles enter Tamil Nadu without e-pass at the Bannari check post, near Sathy on the border of Tamil Nadu-Karnataka.
Karnataka vehicles are easily entering into Tamil Nadu as the police are not ordered to check whether they have an e-pass.
So, there is a risk of corona spreading because the public health department does not monitor people coming from that state, they rued.
