About 12 thousand government school students will be benefited from the internal reservation in engineering courses for the current academic year.
Similarly, about 350 students from government schools will be benefited from various disciplines of education such as agriculture, veterinary science, fisheries and law.
These students will pave the pathway for the upliftment of their families and their hometowns.
Thus their generation is going to stand tall.
Thereby this State is going to benefit.
Chief Minister MK Stalin said that he was proud to have issued an education mandate in such a situation and it is highly commendable.
The announcement of this 7.5 percent internal reservation would be pleasing to students and their parents who could enrol in college in professional courses.
With a 7.5 % internal allocation for students studying in government schools, the government will accept all costs, including tuition, accommodation and counselling fees, for students enrolling in professional courses.
Chief Minister Stalin has said that Rs. 250 crores will be allocated annually for this and it has been welcomed and lauded by people of various sorts.
