TMC leader joins BJP

TMC Weavers Wing state president M. Agni Rajesh joined BJP in the presence of BJP national observer for TN CT Ravi and state president K Annamalai at a function held at Dindigul recently.

Previously, he held TMC propaganda wing secretary, Congress youth wing state secretary, district president, seva dal chief organizer and secretary posts and was a member of All India Powerloom Board, Deputy Chairman of the Trichy District Agriculture Market Committee, and member of the District Advisory Committee of the Department of Renewable Energy Sources.

Now, he is the co-ordinator of federation of all trade and industry associations (FATIA) of Erode district, a consortium of 110 associations, and Bharat Electronics and cellphone sevice technicians associations.

He served as the college president of the NCC (NCC Senior Under Officer) at Trichy SIT College and trained in the Indian Army in Goa for 30 days.

He involved in many spiritual works also including holding of annual festival of Agni Mariamman temple, coming under HR and CE department at Erumapatti in Namakkal district which was not held for 19 years due to caste problem.

He has created 27 km long Girivala Pathai (path in the foothills) of the historic Thalamalai, near Erumappatti with arranging food and water to thousands of devotees who took part Girivalam on Paurnami every month.

He said he was attracted to the honesty of PM Modi and Annamalai in public life to join BJP and serve people more with the blessings of BJP national president JP Natta, Home Minister Amit Shah and CT Ravi.
