A consultative meeting will be held tomorrow under the chairmanship of Chief Minister MK Stalin on further relaxation of the curfew.
Curfew has been imposed in Tamil Nadu to control the spread of corona and various relaxations have been given. The curfew has been in place till the 31st of this month.
Schools are scheduled to open on November 1 for grades 1 to 8.
Meanwhile, people in all cities in Tamil Nadu are flocking to buy clothes, sweets and firecrackers for Diwali.
The incidence of corona in Tamil Nadu is also decreasing gradually. Following this, Chief Minister MK Stalin is scheduled to consult tomorrow on granting further relaxation.
The meeting will be held at 11.30 am tomorrow at the General Secretariat and will be attended by the Chief Secretary, Medical Officers, Secretaries of various departments and senior officials.
With Deepavali set to be celebrated on November 4, there is widespread demand for schools to postpone the opening. It is said that this will also be discussed.
