Ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly Election 2021, a short film will be aired on a state-of-the-art electronic video vehicle on behalf of the Press and Public Relations Department.
The Voter Awareness Vehicle was flagged off by the District Election Officer and Collector C. Kathiravan at the collectorate on Wednesday.
The Election Commission of India is taking various measures to ensure that all voters cast their votes. Accordingly, awareness is being created among the voters in Erode district to ensure that all voters above the age of 18 are included in the voter list.
Following this, the Chief Electoral Officer has instructed the officials to broadcast election related awareness short films through electronic video vehicle ahead of the Assembly General Election 2021.
Collector C. Kathiravan said the short films are titled as ‘voting is a democratic duty’, ‘Let’s vote, let’s vote’, and ‘voting is a pride of India’ .
The short films on voter awareness emphasizes the need for all voters to vote and all above 18 years of age should enrol their names in the voters list.
It will be screened in the sophisticated electronic video vehicle.
Subsequently, he launched a Voter Awareness Vehicle on behalf of the Department of Differently Abled Welfare, emphasizing that all persons with disabilities should vote.
The event was attended by Erode RDO S. Saibudin, Information and Public Relations Officer S. K. Satheeskumar, Differently Abled Welfare Officer Seenivasan, District Manager (TAHDCO) Jayanthi and other relevant departmental officials.
