The meeting was chaired by Coordinator M. Ravi.

The following resolution passed at the meeting: The plan to lay a concrete floor in the Keezhbavani canal should not be started until the counting of votes is completed on May 2 and the new government takes charge.

Damaged bridges should only be rebuilt without laying a fully concrete base in the canal.

It was decided at the meeting that if the public works department was involved in laying the concrete floor in the downstream canal before the counting of votes, the farmers would work together to stop the work.
