Retired policemen, ex-servicemen called on for polling duty: Coimbatore SP


The Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police (SP) has called on retired Sub Inspectors of Police, constables and ex-servicemen to engage in the polling duties ahead of the forthcoming Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.

Retired police officers, constables and ex-servicemen who are in good health are invited to work as special police personnel to provide election security at polling booths in Mettupalayam, Periyanaickenpalayam, Perur, Karumathampatti, Pollachi and Valparai sub-divisions of Coimbatore district ahead of the forthcoming Assembly elections.

Those who wish to work in the field for election security should contact the election wing of the Coimbatore District Police Office and give their approval.
