Rotary Club of Coimbatore City (RCC) Tennis Championship, a two-day tennis tournament was organized to raise funds for a free breast and cervical cancer camp. The tournament was held at the KG Ramesh Tennis Academy premises, Coimbatore.
RCC president Senthil Kumar and Secretary Ganesan presided over the function. District Governor Rajasekar Srinivasan was the special guest. Rotarians of various ages from Kerala and Tamil Nadu participated in the competition.
Dr Senthil Kumar said, “Rotary Coimbatore City was carrying out various community service activities such as medical assistance, feeding the poor and construction of educational institutions under the ‘Revitalization’ program”.
He said that a new treatment centre was to be set up to treat patients with Dialysis needs in Annur who belong to the weaker section of the society”.
