District Election Officer and Collector C. Kathiravan said that the Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced the timetable for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections and the Code of Conduct for Elections is in force throughout the Erode District.

A 24-hour election control room has been set up at the Erode District Collector’s Office to lodge complaints regarding cash payment to voters and other election irregularities.
