Top officials in Tamil Nadu have recommended an extension of the week-long curfew.
A consultative meeting chaired by Chief Minister Stalin was held at the Chennai General Secretariat on whether to grant further relaxations. During the meeting, top officials recommended a one-week extension of the curfew in Tamil Nadu.
The curfew which ends on June 14 is expected to last for another week. There is no relaxation in those 11 districts, where the corona infection is high. Sources say that there are chances of exempting early morning walks and opening of TASMAC shops in the rest of the districts.
