Indian economy likely to witness 9.5% growth per annum: IMF

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has predicted that India’s economy will grow by 9.5%.

The Indian economy fell 7.3 % last year due to the corona epidemic. Moreover, India’s GDP continues to decline due to the corona.


The IMF predicts 9.5% growth in the current fiscal year and 8.5% in the next fiscal year.

The US economy is projected to grow at 6 % in 2021 and 5.2% in 2022. China, an economic powerhouse, is projected to grow at 8% in the current fiscal year and 5.6 % in the next.


The global economy is expected to grow by 5.9 % in the current fiscal year and 4.9% in the next fiscal year.

It is reported that the recovery of the Indian economy from the effects of the corona has been accelerated by measures such as undertaking reforms for business development and accelerating vaccination.


With the annual meeting of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund coming up soon, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has said so in a statement.
