District Collector Dr. GS Sameeran heard public grievances through online at the collectorate on Monday.
The online meeting was attended by many officials including the District Revenue Officer BS Leela Alex.
Every week on Monday a public grievance day meeting was held at the district collector office. At present, in the interest of the public during the Corona disaster, the Government has directed the public to submit their petitions through online.
Subsequently, Deputy Collectors were appointed for 11 talukas in Coimbatore district and the concerned officers attended the online grievance day meeting held from the respective taluk offices.
The tahsildars in the respective areas received petitions from the public on various demands including land survey, new family card, old age pension, removal of encroachment, housing patta etc.
At a public grievance day meeting held online, the district collector heard the demands of the public through video. Further, Dr. GS Sameeran directed the concerned departmental officers to expedite the action on the petitions of the public within the stipulated time.
Like this every Monday, there will be a day for people to lodge their complaints online. The public can submit their petitions to the Taluk Offices in their respective areas.
