Government Arts College will soon be started in Talawadi Hill, Housing Minister S Muthusamy said.
He inaugurated online career guidance center of the district employment exchange at Kadambur Hill Government High School, Sathy, through video conferencing at a function held at the collectorate.
He said that ”83 thousand 137 males and 93 thousand 216 females registered their names in the Erode district employment office.
Of these, 2,748 are differently abled.” Erode District Employment Office was already conducting career guidance centre at its office at Erode with over 5000 books besides many books in digital format.
It also engages resource persons to help the students to attend various competitive exams.
Now, Kadambur centre is linked with it through online to help students of Kadambur and Thalavadi to attend it to prepare for competitive exams.
Due to corona, classes are being held through online. The students attending Kadambur centre would also get guidebooks to face competitive exams.
Students in the hill area will be trained to get government jobs and to overcome the shortcomings in participating interviews. A Government College will soon be started in Talawadi.
Then, the training provided in this center will be beneficial to the students there. Training will be provided by the best professors, experts and winners of competitive exams. Collector
