Many first time voters emphasized the upcoming rulers to focus on employment and education growth. During the polling held in various booths in Erode town, they said they ”voted for a party that emphasizes employment and education.”
A voter from Erode East constituency, said: I am studying undergraduate law. We will not leave the employment of Tamil Nadu youth to others. I voted for a party that promised not to intimidate minority people.”
An engineering college student from the same constituency, said that ”Navodaya schools should be started in Tamil Nadu to provide quality education to all. I voted for the party that made this promise.”
An undergraduate business student from Erode West constituency, said ”she had voted for a party that emphasized education, assuring waiver of education loans and free education for all.”
A PG student, said he had voted for a party that promised to ensure employment for young people and eliminate NEET.
