Finland flourishes in happiness

Finland has been recognised as the happiest country in the world. This ranking is based on a survey conducted in 149 countries.

Let us also try to achieve first place in the future. In this ranking India has been given the 139th place. Appreciations. The United Nations (UN) recently released the World Happiness Report 2021.

The report was based on the quantum of happiness of people during the last year and India has ranked 139th in that.

In the report of 2019, India ranked 140th. In the report released by the UN on World Happiness Day on March 20, the impact created by the pandemic on people’s lives was studied. 

The ways through which people encountered the pandemic was also studied. It was found in the research that few countries handled the pandemic which was way better than the rest.

It is noteworthy that, as far as India was concerned, people were surveyed through phone calls and by talking to them in person Finland has been ranked as the happiest country in the world. America is in the 19th position.

Our neighbouring countries like Pakistan, China and Bangladesh are leading in ranks when compared to India. The war-hit Afghanistan ranks last on the list. 

The list is prepared based on the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), healthcare services, freedom of people, and so on. There are chances for India also to reach first place. Let us try and win in the future
