AIADMK MLAs in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly were involved in a chaotic protest within the assembly regarding the Kodanadu murder and robbery case.
The debate on the budget filed by the DMK government has been going on since Monday. As the assembly convened this morning for the debate, the AIADMK entered the assembly with banners wearing black badges in connection with the Kodanadu murder case.
Speaker Appavu warned them as they were constantly engaged in chaos. They continued to carry banners and shout slogans in defiance of the Speaker’s instructions. Thus, the Speaker issued an order to expel the AIADMK MLAs from the House. “I allowed him to speak on the basis of being the leader of the opposition. But carrying placards without permission is reprehensible.
The AIADMK should not raise the issue in the assembly without permission as the case is in court,” the speaker said. AIADMK MLAs were expelled from the Assembly on the orders of the Speaker. Due to this, the BJP members also walked out. The AIADMK leaders who walked out of the assembly sat in the doorway of the assembly and engaged in a protest. Everyone, including EPS and OPS, were sitting on the ground and protesting.
They were involved in a struggle claiming that there was an attempt to implicate Edappadi Palanisamy in the Kodanadu murder case.
